‘Social Saturday is an annual campaign which inspires consumers to buy from social enterprises, businesses that put people and planet first. It is led by the national body for social enterprises,\u00a0Social Enterprise UK<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(SEUK) and is supported by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.’<\/em><\/p>\n

In 2016 over sixty events took pace across the UK, and this year there are lots of ways in which to get involved at home and work.<\/p>\n

You might be\u00a0a\u00a0consumer<\/span><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0looking for a\u00a0social enterprise gift; work in a\u00a0local authority<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and keen to support social enterprises in your borough; or a\u00a0business<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>looking to buy from social enterprises to improve your supply chain.<\/p>\n
